The Change­Mak­ers Awards rec­og­nizes indi­vid­u­als, pro­grams, and orga­ni­za­tions that have sig­nif­i­cant­ly advanced social jus­tice among South Asians in the U.S. Please indi­cate an indi­vid­ual, pro­gram, or orga­ni­za­tion you wish to nom­i­nate for a Change­Mak­ers Award and pro­vide detailed infor­ma­tion about how your nom­i­nee has con­tributed to advanc­ing social jus­tice among South Asians in the U.S. or the broad­er immi­grant com­mu­ni­ty in the U.S.

Nom­i­na­tions are open through Feb­ru­ary 22, 2015, and select­ed nom­i­nees will be noti­fied by March 6, 2015. Self-nom­i­na­tions are wel­come. Awardees will be hon­ored at the Change­Mak­ers Award Recep­tion the evening of April 10, 2015 as part of the Nation­al South Asian Sum­mit 2015. (Awardee trav­el and one night accom­mo­da­tion will be cov­ered by SAALT).

The Nation­al South Asian Sum­mit 2015 is host­ed by South Asian Amer­i­cans Lead­ing Togeth­er (SAALT) and the South Asian Law Stu­dents Asso­ci­a­tion (SALSA) of the Amer­i­can Uni­ver­si­ty Wash­ing­ton Col­lege of Law as part of the Founders’ Celebration.
